Tauranga Yacht Club

Est. 1988.  Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Clubhouse (1933-1983) | Harbourside Restaurant (est. 1988). Annual regattas, racing and cruising have taken place on Tauranga Harbour since 1875. In January 1926, the Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Clubhouse raffled off a £50 gold nugget to raise funds towards a building which was completed during working bees. In 1983 they moved to Sulphur Point and in 1988 the old clubhouse became the Harbourside Restaurant.
